Spirit lovers worldwide have long understood the benefits of distilling at higher altitudes.
Since 1550, San Pedro has distilled at more than 8,070 feet (2,460 meters) above sea level in the Andes Mountains, which are the second highest mountain range in the world.
The higher altitude allows San Pedro to distill at a lower boiling point, which leads to a more pure distillation process, and more importantly, leads to better flavors. After the initial distillation, our Singani has a 60-70% alcohol content level, which is then watered down to 40%, using fresh and pristine spring water from the Andes.
The result of this process is the remarkable and unique flavor of Singani.
